Distribution
The City of Fulton owns a municipal water system that currently serves
approximately 4,215 water meters. The water system is comprised of six
(6) deep wells located throughout the City, eight (8) booster pumps, three
(3) elevated towers, three (3) ground storage facilities, and a network
of approximately ninety (90) miles of distribution mains. Last year the
City pumped approximately 650 million gallons of water from the wells.
The elevated towers have a storage capacity of 950,000 gallons, and the
ground storage facilities have a capacity of 3.013 million gallons.
